On March 11, 2023, we were in Guatemala representing United Species DAO. Our presentation was aimed at the ETH Guatemala community to build the necessary capabilities and understanding for the development of Web3.0 tools focused on reducing the climate vulnerability of local communities through their participation in decision-making regarding territories that provide ecosystem services. Guatemala is one of the Latin American countries with the highest percentage of indigenous and native populations inhabiting forested territories, often outside the financial system and political decision-making concerning their territories.
